I. Treatment after use

 

1. Before shutting down, turn on the air supply mode. After the cooling or heating process is completed, do not immediately shut down the machine. You can first run it in the "air supply/dehumidification mode" for 10 to 30 minutes to dry the water on the evaporator and prevent mold growth in a humid environment.

 

2. Avoid prolonged standby: When the air conditioner is not in use for a long time, completely disconnect the power supply and keep your body dry.

 

 

II. Regular cleaning 

 

1. Clean the filter screen: Remove the filter screen every 2 to 4 weeks, and clean and dry it with clean water or neutral detergent.

 

2. Clean the evaporator and air outlet: It is recommended to clean the evaporator fins with a dedicated air conditioning cleaner every 1 to 3 months.

 

3. Chassis drain: Check whether the drainage is smooth to avoid moldy water.

 

III. Professional deep cleaning

 

1. Once a year: It is recommended to find a professional to do a deep cleaning, cleaning ducts, evaporators, condensers, and wind turbines, especially before the season.

 

2. High-temperature steam sterilization: Some services provide steam cleaning, which can effectively kill bacteria and molds.

 

IV. Management of use environment

 

1. Keep indoors dry: Avoid excessive humidity indoors. If necessary, it can be used in combination with a dehumidifier.

 

2. Regular window ventilation: Ensure air circulation and reduce bacterial breeding opportunities.

 

3. Avoid stacking sundries: Keep air circulation around the cabinet, and do not stack items that are easy to vacuum or wet.

 

V. Auxiliary protective measures

 

1. Activated carbon / silver ion filter: It can effectively inhibit bacteria and remove taste (to be selected according to the model).

 

2. Ultraviolet sterilization module: Some high-end models come with a UV lamp, which can assist sterilization.
